In her role as Project Manager, Sara organizes and coordinates the legal team at STL, making sure everyone is aligned and focused on shared goals. Alongside her project management duties, she serves as a Legal Consultant, where she assists with research on complex international trade law topics, drafts legal guidance for attorney review, and supports clients in navigating intricate compliance regulations across jurisdictions.

Sara's contributions extend to several essential areas of the firm’s operations. She leads quality control initiatives, helps draft and maintain company policies, and actively contributes to STL’s marketing efforts. Sara also supervises the firm’s interns, ensuring they gain meaningful experience and their work supports STL’s broader goals.

Beyond her formal responsibilities, Sara brings a unique spirit to the firm. She creates a weekly trivia game that tests the team’s knowledge of current trade compliance news, keeping everyone informed and engaged with the fast-paced changes in international trade law. Additionally, her dedication to fostering a positive office culture is evident in her enthusiasm for putting up seasonal decorations, creating competitions amongst the team, and organizing celebrations for employee milestones.

Before joining STL, Sara honed her project management skills in the technology industry, leading cross-functional teams and compliance initiatives for Global HR leaders. Notable achievements include serving as the Project Manager for the company’s Americas Compliance team, spearheading the revamp of recruiting processes to include the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program, single-handedly negotiating a nationwide multi-year vendor contract achieving 45% savings, and leading the Corporate Social Responsibility Subcommittee. Sara also served as Global Ambassador Lead during a major systems transition from Microsoft/Cisco to Google, coordinating over 100 ambassadors to support 10,000 employees worldwide.
During her pursuit of an undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), Sara served as a Research Intern focusing on international political economy under the guidance of Dr. Rachel Wellhausen. In this capacity, she conducted comprehensive evaluations and reports on international policies and issues. Sara's passion for international affairs and her commitment to intellectual growth extended to her involvement in UT Austin's esteemed Model United Nations team, TexMUN. As a dedicated member of this competitive team, she refined her understanding of international affairs and concepts, showcasing her expertise at both regional and international competitions.

Sara was born and raised in London, UK. However, for the past eight years, she has called Texas her home. Sara is fluent in English, proficient in Spanish, and conversant in Bengali. In her free time, Sara enjoys exploring nature, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and bunnies.
