A particular focus of his practice is on domestic preference/content requirements in government contracting and federally funded projects, including helping clients navigate 'Buy America' compliance; Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliance under the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act; domestic content requirements under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022; Buy American Act of 1933 (BAA) compliance; and Trade Agreements Act of 1979 (TAA) compliance. He also counsels on “Made in USA” claims under Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rules.
Josh started his career at Lockheed Martin Corporation working on U.S. Navy nuclear submarine modernization programs and direct commercial sales (DCS) of secure communications equipment to the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force.
